Good morning,
Basically I am a Malaysian citizen and same to my husband and daughter. At the moment, my 15 months old daughter and I are accompanying my husband who is on business trip in Regensburg, Germany since 1st Oct’16. We will then going back to Malaysia on 17th Dec’16 to fulfill the rules of “not more than 90days staying within 180days”.
My husband’s company will help to apply the working permit for his next trip to Germany. Tentatively the schedule will be from early of Feb’17 until end of May’17 after the visa is approved.
I have had enjoyable stay here in Germany. I am very impressed with the culture and the lifestyle here. I found German form a good habit in planning and I had learnt that a careful planning providing a sense of security, it’s become apart of my lifestyle now. Hence, I am planning to apply the visa for my daughter and myself in order to accompany my husband in Germany again as well as learning more on German's culture.
With the condition above, really appreciated if you could guide/advice me on the visa application.
Q1: What type of Visa should I apply? Is it Family reunion visa?
Q2: Any possibility for me and my daughter to apply the visa in Germany since I am here in Regensburg?
Q3: What type of documents do I need to prepare?

I guess is better if you visit the foreign office where you are registered now in germany and take their proffessional advice and guidance, but surely you will need to apply for this visa in your home country Malaysia with required documents from your husband's company of work sonce he does not yet have his own papers to invite you.
