I am soo glad I found this forum. My husband and I are thinking about moving to Sao Miguel. we do have a condo there. but we just use it for family visits. I would not mind renting it out to tourist. \I would like to get some insight on expats that are there now living the life. I saw on some of the past discussions that there are grants to be given out to someone who wants to start a business in Sao Miguel? what do you think would be a profitable business? my husband says a drive through beer store..:) I say bnb. we both are great cooks. myself I am Portuguese decent and him Bermudian.
any info would be great. thank you
