Hi, I'm just about to take a short term rental (3 months) for a place in Goa. We are considering extending from this period for a 'proper' 11 month contract but are not sure at this time. Should I get a rental agreement or some kind of paperwork from the landlord for a 3 month agreement or just work on a trust basis that the landlord will honour the 3 month period? It's peak season coming up and we don't want to be turfed out because a better offer comes along for the landlord! Also not sure about handing rent money over with out paperwork back. Advice would be most appreciated. Many thanks
