timeline for fiancee visa?

hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

    Thanks for your concern and don't worry we will follow your advice anytime soon. We will just try twice for the visa application to Belgium and if we don't get the luck we will try your advice. Yes i know that Belgium is not an easy country. Thanks :)

    I heard you live in Oostende? like Desert Vixen said, we will be in Mayon Restaurant in Oostende this coming Saturday night for filipino buffet for 25euros per person, cover na lahat, we will be there to catch up since it has been awhile din that we havent seen each other.. if you have an fb account, let me know as well..

    I gave me my opinion.Hope you will succeed with the visa, but keep in mind Belgium isn't an easy country to enter.And if your BF wants to spend a lot of money for several applications, ok.
    Why not at once apply for family reunification?

    Yes I was planning to put up my own business nut im not gonna declare that as soon as i have it. I will definitely wait for some time to declare that. Hmmm cohabitation would be a good idea but for now we will try visit a friend visa for several application. i want to be with him and live with him in Belgium for few years and when he retire I will prefer us to stay here in Philippines.

    I hope that our visa application will be approved next time. We just have to try and try and prove that our instension is to be with him within the timeframe and not to overstay. Most of the countries require Philippines to get visa because most of Filipino overstay or illegally stay overseas. We should gain their trust that we have good intensions.

    To put up a business right away is not good if your purpose is for the visa. They will question , why you just build a business in just a few months. So, possible if you put up a business this year you can apply next year at least 1 year old establish.

    If that so, since you have a strong proof of relationship, why don't you try cohabitation (which is applicable to male to male relationship.) I don't know if they will question the age gap for this application.
