Big Sky Mind: A Silent Guided Meditation Retreat in Evergreen

On this retreat, Kadam Lucy will guide the meditation sessions on Mahamudra, the blissful clarity of our mind. In between sessions, the silent retreat gives us a wonderful opportunity to deepen our mindfulness and inner peace.

Mahamudra meditation, rooted in the rich tradition of Buddhism, offers a journey toward profound insight and inner peace; and can be practiced by anyone. The benefits of Mahamudra extend far beyond mere relaxation or stress relief; it encompasses a profound shift in perspective, leading to greater wisdom, compassion, and freedom from suffering.

On this retreat we will learn how to unveil and meditate on the clarity, luminosity, and natural purity of our own mind, coming to rest in a deeply peaceful state of awareness. By discovering that there is far more space inside us than outside, we see our usual problems in perspective – a skill which can then permeate every aspect of our lives.
