Hello! My mother is from Switzerland, and I have gone to the embassy and received my passport and acknowledgement as a Swiss citizen as well. I have a two year old son who was born in California, like me- my question is: is he automatically Swiss (even though I am only half?), and is there paperwork I should fill out, to confirm his dual citizenship?

Yes your son has te right to have swiss citizenship since you are swiss .
You have to go to the nearest embassy wth an original birth certificate of your son to have a registration as well
in Switzerland of his birth after that at the embassy the tell you a web site to ask for your son swiss passport.
