    Thank you for the correspondence. Yes, I would research all data from different angles.
    Most of the time even the officials do not know the EU rules. Those are too new to them.
    For example the VAT (value added tax) on boats is not well known in different EU countries.

    The 20% tax is probably about income tax. Can you say anything about real-estate property taxes?

    Seasteading is definitely an interesting thing. Seasteading is most probable first in the USA
    in the Atlantic ocean, off the Florida coast. But that is just my opinion. The closest Europen
    seastead to that could be close to the Azores. But this is just speculation.

    Real-estate properties on the Azores are physical reality.
